How to vote kick yourself in CS:GO, once explained, is a manageable process. The functionality exists in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but it's not as simple as voting to kick another player in your lobby. There's a reason for that.

Here's what you need to know about voting to kick yourself in CS:GO.

How to Vote Kick Yourself in CSGO

Voting to kick another CS:GO player in your lobby is as easy as heading into the Escape menu, clicking on "Call vote," choosing "Kick Player," and selecting the chosen player from the available list.

Your name won't appear in that list, however. Instead, you'll have to head into the developer console by pressing tilde (~). If that doesn't bring up the console you'll need to enable the developer console in your game settings first.

Once in the console, type "status" and press enter. A list of players will appear. Find your name in the list and copy the two numbers beside the pound sign. Type "callvote kick" and the numbers you copied, then press enter. This will initiate the vote.

This technique can be used to leave a ladder match without receiving the same punishment. It should be used in moderation, as it still leaves your team down a player.
