One of the best things about several different subreddits/communities is the way they update their subreddit forums with each holiday, or whenever something happens.
The official LoL subreddit, r/leagueoflegends, is no stranger to precisely that. And well, it looks like it's been invaded by a very familiar face this time around.

I'm not sure exactly what prompted the community to do such a thing, but I can't say I'm exactly disappointed, just curious.
After years of controversy, I suppose that the community has come around and decided to praise our new lord and savior, Mr. Merrill. On top of that, he went ahead and did an impromptu AMA. It makes me wonder if this is all just something Riot did with the subreddit mods. Hmmm
I guess this isn't the worst April Fools-esque change that's occurred. But I mean, cmon, it's not even Apr. 1 yet in the states -- maybe that's the whole prank.
