Will There be a Warzone Season 7?

With Call of Duty (COD) Vanguard on the way, players are wondering whether or not they'll be able to enjoy another season in Warzone.

Activision's flagship military shooter, Call of Duty, is getting another main series title this Nov. 5, 2021. This has both excited franchise fans and made players of its online counterpart, Warzone, a bit nervous. Will Vanguard take over from Warzone?

Here's our take on whether or not players can expect a Season 7 from Warzone.

Will There be a Warzone Season 7?

Yes, players can likely expect a Season 7 out of Warzone. According to the current battle pass, Season 6 is set to run through to Dec. 2—nearly a month after Vanguard's release. While we cannot say how good the content for the back half of Season 6 will be, it's unlikely Raven Software will stop work on Warzone altogether.

Considering the battle pass will continue to be active up to and beyond Vanguard's release, it's unlikely that one will conflict with the other on a studio level. Additionally, Raven may not have anything to do with Vanguard to begin with. Vanguard is being handled by Sledgehammer Games, instead, leaving Raven to focus its attention on Warzone and its dedicated fanbase.

DBLTAP cannot confirm any content for Warzone's Season 7, either. Despite this, there has been speculation surrounding an influx of World War II weaponry and the previously leaked Pacific coast map. According to the leaks, it could be large enough to rival Verdansk as a primary map in-game.
